About the Author
It was in late 2017 that my father challenged me to actually finish just one of my many stories that I have written and illustrated throughout my life. It has always been a dream of mine to actually touch and hold a book that was written by me. Now I don’t know if my father really thought that he would have to become a publisher on top of the many other things he does to provide for our family, but when I think back it was a challenge that had to be made. Today I am a published author and after holding my book in my own hands, I am truly inspired to do more and know deep down that “Wild Imagination: The Adventures of Maddie and Albert” is the first of many.
I was born and still live in Long Beach, CA. Growing up I loved to draw and create characters in my own imaginary world. It was a world that I felt safe and comfortable where my family was always a captive audience to my wild imagination. Throughout my school years I was shy and reserved and enjoyed observing the world from the background, sometimes wishing I was invisible. Elementary school was hard for me and my parents did their very best to help me cope with all that I encountered. It wasn’t until I was fifteen that I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
