Fifth grader Tamaya and seventh grader Marshall have walked to and from Woodbridge Academy together since elementary school. But when bully Chad Wilson challenges Marshall to a fight, Marshall decides to take a shortcut home through the off-limit woods. Tamaya following right behind. They eventually get lost and
they find trouble. More trouble than anyone could have imagined.
In the days and weeks that follow, the authorities and the U.S. Senate get involved, and what they discover might affect the future of the world.
When I began reading this book I had no idea what to expect. The title didn’t really register in my mind until the term ‘fuzzy mud’ was used for the first time. I can’t really say anything more about this book or I’ll ruin the surprise. It’s a very quick read and has a hidden meaning that you don’t find out until the very end. This book is definitely worth reading.
