For anyone who wants to learn about a true hero
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg never stopped fighting for equal treatment for everyone by challenging unfair laws and the beliefs that surrounded them.
She created equality and justice.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been the subject of many books, including a graphic novel. I honestly haven’t been interested in reading about her until now, and I regret not learning more about her sooner. I knew she was a judge, but I didn’t realize how big a deal she was. She was one tough lady and a true trailblazer.
Ruth Bader Ginsburg isn’t the first judge to be featured in this book series. The first was Sonia Sotomayor, who can be seen in adult form in this book, along with many other female judges for whom Ruth Bader Ginsburg helped pave the way. I was also surprised to learn that Ruth Bader Ginsburg was the second woman to become a Supreme Court Justice. The first was Sandra Day O’Connor.
The one fact that blew my mind was that Brad Meltzer knew Ruth Bader Ginsburg. In fact, her daughter was one of his mentors when he was in school. How cool is that!?
Ruth Bader Ginsburg got a full 22-minute episode of Xavier Riddle and the Secret Museum. She definitely deserved one.
