Golden Wizard Book Award Review

“I am continually impressed by the talent of this writer and artist. Her work is of the highest
calibre, and she is a rare find in today’s literary world.

Flying the Imaginary Skies is an incredible addition to the Adventures of Maddie and Albert.
The series is quickly becoming my favourite, with each new installment eliciting smiles and
laughter. The books have been created with such finesse, from their illustrations to the
imaginative plots, the impressive level of skill involved makes them likely to become classics.

The way this book teaches children about such a wide variety of places around the world
without being at all tedious is truly remarkable and a testament to the author’s expertise. The
friendship between Maddie and Albert is one of its greatest strengths. Their relationship
keeps the book engaging, and their playful banter adds to the joyous tone.

I highly recommend this author’s work. Her books are refreshingly original and will be
enjoyed by children of all ages. I eagerly await the next installment of this series!”

We bought this for our 5-year-old niece who loves it - she wanted it read to her over and over until she memorized it and now "reads" it to others. We love the artwork, the characters, and the story with its message of celebrating one another's differences - a beautiful message for today's world.
