Rated E for Everyone
Princess Diana left her island nation of Themyscira to become Wonder Woman on Earth, committed to fighting for what is right and good.
She sees the power in you.
The creator of Wonder Woman, William Moulton Marston, wanted to inspire a new generation of powerful women. Today, Wonder Woman is the best-known and most popular female superhero of all time. She really is everything you would want in a good superhero. Strong, fast, compassionate, determined, etc. I’m still confused about how her bathing suit-like armor protects her. Well, she was designed by a man, after all.
I don’t understand why Diana’s mother didn’t want her to train or fight. Shouldn’t the queen of a race of warrior women want her daughter to be the strongest warrior possible? It makes no sense to me.
Sidenote: There are a few references to the 2017 film Wonder Woman in the illustrations.
I wonder which DC superhero will star in the fourth book? I’m hoping for Green Lantern or The Flash.
