The sneakiest seagull on the beach meets his match when a plucky crab makes a grab for the tastiest snacks.

 

This is a great beach story with simple, fun, and colorful illustrations.

 

Anyone who has ever gone to the beach knows how sneaky seagulls are. These bold sea birds will snatch food right out of your hand. No snack food is safe with these birds around. And no seagull is more skilled, or more full of himself, than Smug Seagull.

 

The expressions on the little crab’s face are so cute. I love his funny eyebrows and how he never says a word.

 

I used to feed the seagulls down at the beach when I was a kid. I loved how they would hover over me, snatching the food out of the air. I don’t know why I got so much joy from feeding those noisy birds. They’re just funny, I guess.
