Simon thinks he’s a cat.

But Lion, Cheetah, Puma, Panther, and Tiger disagree.

Can Simon convince the big cats that they are all more alike than they seem?

I saw this book at the library and my first thought was ‘Kitty!” This is a simple picture book that shows that cats come in all shapes and sizes and they are all great.

I like cats. Especially big wild cats. They’re so strong and beautiful and their faces are so cute. It doesn’t matter the color of their fur or their size, they all look so sweet. Until they start growling and swiping at your face.

Retractable claws are awesome. Anytime I meet a cat who will let me touch them, I like to play with their paws. There’s a pressure point you can press and out pop the claws. One moment they’re normal, next moment they’re Wolverine.

My favorite thing about cats is their purring. They sound like a little motor boat. My dog Dude sometimes purrs when he sleeps (it might just be a soft snore, but I like to think that he’s purring). Have you ever wondered if big cats purr like domestic cats? Click on the YouTube link below to find out.
