The Land of Stories series, in a nutshell, is a story about a world where every fairy tale ever written exists in one place. When it come to a book series with so many characters and details, its nice to have a guide book to keep track of whos who, whats what, and wheres where. Reading about what inspires Chris Colfers writing, going through his notes and drafts and seeing all the work he went through to write the Land of Storiesseries was amazing.
I was amazed by how much I related to Chris Colferstop ten tips for writers. Im just a lowly little childrens picture book author and hes a big-league author. His advice on dealing with writers block is a thing I need to force myself to do when it comes to writing books and this book blog. I also need to accept the fact that complete satisfaction is a myth.
