If you don’t understand why this book is called ‘The Ultimate Book Hugger’sGuide’, you obviously haven’t read the Land of Stories series.

The Land of Stories series, in a nutshell, is a story about a world where every fairy tale ever written exists in one place. When it come to a book series with so many characters and details, it’s nice to have a guide book to keep track of who’s who, what’s what, and where’s where. Reading about what inspires Chris Colfer’s writing, going through his notes and drafts and seeing all the work he went through to write the Land of Storiesseries was amazing.

I was amazed by how much I related to Chris Colfer’stop ten tips for writers. I’m just a lowly little children’s picture book author and he’s a big-league author. His advice on dealing with writer’s block is a thing I need to force myself to do when it comes to writing books and this book blog. I also need to accept the fact that complete satisfaction is a myth.
